Job Description

Job TitleSenior Process Engineer Employment TypeContract Estimated Duration- 8 months.This role has been deemed inside of IR35.LocationWarringtonThe OpportunityAn incredible opportunity has become available to have the chance of working with a well-established engineering consultancy, working within a collaborative environment to provide your support to the development of major projects across the UK and world drivenby a like-minded team of chemical specialists. The need is for you as a Senior Process Engineer, to provide updates to basis of process safety and basis of design.

  • Do you have extensive experience as a process engineer with a chemical background

  • Would you be interested in working alongside a team of chemical specialists to drive the development of key projects across the UK using innovative solutions

  • Updates to basis of process safety & basis of design.
  • Completion of export strategy and chemotoxic assessment.
  • Updates to transport conditions for acceptance documents.
  • Consideration of venting arrangements for transport containers.
  • Liaison with key stakeholders and other design disciplines.
  • Provide support to DSEAR activities.
  • Support to other disciplines.
Orphan Wastes:
  • You will be working in conjunction with technical to establish technical underpinning Envelope.
  • Working with stakeholders and other projects to establish potential treatment routes.
  • Optioneering.
  • Consideration of potential safety (radiological and conventional) and DSEAR issues.
  • Development of CAE and BoPS.
  • You should be capable of attaining SC clearance.
You will have the following qualifications & experience:
  • You will need to be degree qualified in Chemical Engineering or demonstrable experience of an equivalent engineering discipline.
  • You must be proactive and have a driven approach to work.
  • You will need to be able to demonstrate excellent communication skills and ability to work with other team members/ disciplines.
  • Competent report writing skills: clearly and concisely reporting findings.
  • You must be comfortable with working under time and cost constraints.
  • Have experience of delivery of chemical engineering deliverables on multidiscipline design projects.
It’s great if you also have the following:
  • Ideally you will have DSEAR/ hydrogen management experience.
  • Preferably you will be a chartered Chemical Engineer with IChemE/EC.
  • Experience of nuclear industry design delivery.
  • Experience with site checking and approval procedure.
