Job Description

Job type: Full-time, office-basedSalary: £24,000 p.a.Location: Bingham, NottinghamWe have a brilliant opportunity for a Mortgage Administrator looking to join a friendly and successful mortgage advice practice based in Bingham, just outside of Nottingham.Do you have experience in a financial services environment, excellent organisational skills, and thrive in a fast-paced team Then this could be the ideal role for you!About the role:An exciting and varied position where you will undertake a range of administrative responsibilities, such as communicating with clients through both verbal and written means, management of record keeping and ensuring the company database is up to date, whilstproviding excellent customer service.Main Duties:

  • Constructing and issuing suitability letters to clients explaining the advice they are given, keeping clients up to date on the progression of their application and ensuring relevant documents have been collected from the clients.
  • Ensure that all transactions are conducted in adherence to confidentiality and data collection laws, you must adhere to strict data protection policies.
  • Process clients mortgage and insurance transactions through the completion of online applications.
  • Assist advisers with arranging appointments and diary management of all tasks required during the mortgage/insurance process.
  • Update/create clients on the company database, maintain a paper file and monitor the workload and tasks through the usage of spreadsheets.

About you:It is essential that you can work well in a team, as the office environment is busy therefore building a good rapport with your colleagues is crucial. As is building a rapport with existing and potential clients, both in person and over the telephone. Ideallyyou will have experience in a financial environment and a good understanding of financial services.Ideally you will have:
  • Experience working within a financial environment.
  • An understanding of the importance of data accuracy.
  • Communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
  • Sound IT skills and a good knowledge of MS Word/Excel.
We would also like to see:
  • Experience using Intellifo / Intelligent Office back office systems.
  • Previous experience of mortgage administration.
