An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Technical Training Engineer Manager to join a global manufacturing business of combustion management and control systems for industrial burner applications, working out of their state-of-the-art testingfacility. This is a newly created role and would suit an Engineer looking to reduce the amount of travel being out on the road and who is ready for a move into training! Along with a salary of up to £45,000 per annum, you will also receive private pensionand healthcare, 23 days holiday, as well as excellent career prospects.You will be responsible for assisting with the growth of the current customer base of the business. Assisting in the development and administration of the programs for the group of companies as well as assessing the needs for the organisation and creating manuals,materials, and presentations. You will assist with technical training and if needed meet with customers to present in-person sessions. Ideally, youll be an experienced and confident trainer with a demonstrated electrical or mechanical engineering background, who thrives working independently but also able to contribute as a member of a high performing team. Maybe youre a technical collegelecturer or working within a training centre environment. They are well known in their industry for quality, excellence, and innovation, and whilst they are a global business,they are still very much a family firm and are celebrating their 50thyear this year.As a Technical Training Engineer, your responsibilities will include:

• Oversee programmes including face to face programs, group sessions, videos and where applicable, web-based
• Coordinate the requirements of existing and new programs and the development of new materials
• Modify or create course materials and manuals to meet specific needs as determined by the engineering and technical teams.
• Schedule sessions, organise information technology and other equipment, and manage course enrolment activity.
• Manage costs for all programmes, productions, and publications in order to report to organisation executives regarding a return on investment
• Work towards presenting in-person and online sessions.
• Assist with overseas requirements
• Monitor programmes and manuals to ensure that they are effective and up-to-date and make updates as necessary
• Organise all administrative elements from lead generation to ensuring the logistics are well documented and in place.
• Engage with new and existing customers to drive sales of courses
• Engage with networking events and exhibitions (where appropriate) to attract new business
• Assist with determining needs and requirements for an organisation or group by meeting with managers, talking with employees, or administering surveys
• Interact with industry relevant organisations, attending conferences, and seminars to ensure information is current and as required by the group.

We are looking for a Technical Training Engineer who has the following skills and experiences:

• Highly experienced in training and development, with manufacturing or engineering sector experience
• Experience delivering courses to a diverse audience including both internal and external customers
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Proven track record in lead generation, and customer engagement an advantage
• Strong planning, organisation, and time management skills with the ability to manage changing priorities
• Handle multiple projects, meet deadlines, and adapt to a changing business environment
• Excellent presentation and communication skills
• Be able to be hands on with a new growing company and engaged with the whole process.
• Reporting directly to the Board to ensure there is clear reporting of all activities with customers and the internal departments.
