An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and driven Marketing Director to join a global manufacturing business of combustion management and control systems for industrial burner applications. Along with a salary of up to £80,000 per annum,you will receive a car allowance of £10,000, private healthcare, 23 days holiday, 5 family days for emergencies/problems with childcare/plumbers etc plus a death in service benefit.As a business, the group of companies provide solutions to everything from the Tower of London to Vegas Casino Hotels! They are well known in their industryfor quality, excellence, and innovation, and whilst they are a global business, they are still very much a family firm and are celebrating their 50thyear this year.You will be responsible for developing and implementing high level strategies to support the companys ambitious growth plans, taking ownership of the plan and related campaigns to ensure the whole process is delivered, and in a hands on role where you canreally make an impact. As a Marketing Director, your responsibilities will include:

• Developing and delivering the strategy for the group of companies
• Developing the long-term plan for the enhancement of the brands across the group of companies
• Managing the budget and reporting back to the senior team
• Research and analysis of market trends relating to the companys suite of products to feed into the marketing strategy
• Supporting and driving the generation of qualified client enquiries
• Organising and attending networking events on behalf of the company
• Writing engaging and innovative content for PR and materials
• Maintaining the company website and uploading new and relevant content
• Communications to the internal team, celebrating and sharing successes
• Working with the Board of Directors to develop business networks of potential introducers and collaborators
• Future line management, development and coaching of a team
• Staying current in the industry by attending educational opportunities, conferences, and workshops, reading publications, and maintaining professional networks and memberships to keep our profile visible in the industry

We are looking for a Marketing Director who has the following skills and experiences:

• Strong passion for marketing with significant previous experience working in a varied and fast paced role within the engineering industry
• A Bachelors degree in Marketing, Business Management, or related field
• Extensive experience in the same or similar role
• Current and up to date knowledge of digital practices including online, web, social, video, etc.
• Organised, and possesses the ability to manage multiple and changing priorities
• Excellent leadership skills and experience of growing successful, motivated marketing teams
• Ability to build strong relationships with internal stakeholders to influence and constructively challenge
• Strong commercial acumen, and analytical skills, to keep the Board of Directors up to date on success of strategies
