MATERIAL PLANNERWe have a superb opportunity for a MATERIAL PLANNER to join a busy manufacturing organisation. You would be joining a well-respected, long-established company, who are experiencing a significant uplift in their orders.This is a permanent role, but a Contract role can be offered in the meantime.This is an exceptional time to join a World Class manufacturing organisation, where your long-term prospects would be assured.BENEFITS

DUTIES OF MATERIAL PLANNER

Issue supplier schedules using EDI or spreadsheets
Review stock holding
Look at new products and ensure minimum obsolescence on run out or change control
Procurement of materials in line with production and sales
Develop suppliers
Reducing supply chain costs
Control of Inventory levels
Support Supplier development
Support part and model changes

REQUIREMENTS OF MATERIAL PLANNER

Relevant significant Material Planning and purchasing experience
You will have gained your experience from within a fast-paced manufacturing environment
Excellent IT skills
Capable of cost reduction initiatives
Resilient, positive, driven and adaptable to change
