Gi Group are recruiting for their client who are a leading logistics company based in Nuneaton. We are recruiting for 2 Team Leaders to lead a team of up to 40 warehouse operatives. This is an initial 3 month fixed term contract but will lead to a permanentrole for the right individual. Shifts06:30-15:00 x 1 (Static)15:00-23:30 Mon-Fri x 1 (Static)Salary£24,360 + Shift Allowance KEY RESPONSIBILITIES*To review and improve the operating environment through establishing and maintaining high standards of housekeeping *Ensure health and safety standards are achieved on an ongoing basis and actively promote individual responsibility for health and safety*Ensure all direct activities have a relevant standard operating procedure and actively pursue the elimination of waste through the application of continuous improvement tools and techniques.*Proactively use problem solving techniques to explore and promote any initiatives that support driving costs down.*Analyse and maintain accurate and robust daily, weekly and monthly reporting mechanisms to monitor, control and improve performance*Provide weekly daily and monthly performance reports and develop and maintain visual management boards for the team*Monitor progress against Key Performance Indicators and costs against budget to ensure targets are reached.*Promote flexibility through skills training and personal development to meet future and current team capability targets*Monitor team absence and performance, taking action where necessary, ensuring weekly reviews*Create and maintain a positive team culture and spirit, encouraging involvement from all team members when sharing group, divisional and team information*Work with appropriate parties to provide solutions to team issues taking account of the appropriate policies and ethical practice.*Manage customer interfaces and expectations to ensure excellent customer service is received*Manage manufacturer accreditation to ensure it is maintained and delivered.Essential:*GCSE or equivalent level of education (including Maths and English)*Previous experience of managing and leading a team*Excellent Communication skills including effective listening*Good IT skills with skills in Microsoft Office*Proven logical thinker with skills in understanding and interpreting data*Proven commitment to self-development and team development *Proven experience of adapting to and leading programmes of change*Awareness of H&S standards*Proven experience of delivering excellent customer serviceIf you think this role is for you, do not hesitate to contact us at or email us at Looking forward to hearing for you!Gi Group Holdings Recruitment Limited group of companies includes Gi Recruitment Limited, Draefern Limited, Gi Group Recruitment Ltd, INTOO (UK) Limited, Marks Sattin (UK) Limited, TACK TMI UK Limited and Grafton Professional Staffing Limited.
