Job Description

We are developing our site in Nuneaton into a UK centre of excellence for cheese packaging through commissioning twelve new packing lines throughout 2023 and 2024. With 3 lines already commissioned, were recruiting for our final Shift Engineer to join our growing team and support with the expansion of site!Shift Pattern: 24/7 rostered Days and Nights. 165 shifts per year.   • Developing & maintaining an integrated cheese packing operation to agreed health and safety, quality, engineering and technical standards in line with the companys Manufacturing Performance System (MPS)
  • Developing and maintaining the PPMHS monorail system providing automated feed into & out of the cheese operation.
  • Optimising line performance to meet and exceed Key performance indicators in the areas of equipment reliability and efficiency.
  • Ensuring appropriate information is captured on plant performance, maintenance activities to drive a predictive approach to tasks and to prevent equipment failures.

  • A strong engineering background and necessary qualifications.
  • The ability to work independently, as well as part of a team, manage priorities and are able to identify issues and solutions using your own initiative.
  • The ability to carry out fault finding of PLC controllers - advantageous.
