Job Description

Are you an Approved Electrician, seeking a new job in Nuneaton Jonathan Lee Recruitment is helping a collaborative company recruit a full-time Approved Electrician, in line with JIB rates.As an Electrician, you will establish and adjust work schedules to meet production timetables and off-hours testing and repairs.In your first few weeks in this Electrical Technician role, you can expect to:

Troubleshoot, repair, maintain and install electrical systems and related equipment
Use tools like an infra-red camera, ultrasonic probe, speciality meters, etc
Perform preventative maintenance in industrial, commercial, and health care facilities
TEGG monitoring of high, medium, and low voltage systems, mechanical pipework, and compressed air systems
Carry out test and inspection of electrical distribution in an energised live environment - ensuring business continuity and no disruptive downtime of critical systems

To apply for this role, you will need a Level 3 Electrical qualification or completion of an apprenticeship program in Electrical industry. You will also require the following:

2391 Test & Inspection certificate
Proven experience as an electrician
Knowledge of electrical systems, components, and safety standards
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
