Job Description

Due to growth and investment in the Unipart Logistics IT function we are currently looking for a talented individual to join our dynamic team as an IT Delivery Manager. You will be responsible for planning and execution of changes to support Unipart and the client. You will work with our market leading technology clients and will work closely with our talented development, test, commercial, and operations colleagues to ensure revenue and client satisfaction goals are met.IT Delivery Manager Responsibilities:

  • Own and be accountable for the end to end IT Delivery of changes for one or more technology clients.
  • Be point of contact for the various stakeholders in the delivery lifecycle including, but not limited to, our internal IT team, commercial team, client commercial teams, client IT teams.
  • Manage the product road map, ensuring all change requests are delivered to plan and quality.
  • Manage the IT costs ensuring timesheet completion is completed on time and accurately and that we are charging the correct costs to the client at the agreed budgets.
  • Work with the other IT Delivery Managers to manage conflicts in change delivery and drive best practice.
  • Work with the Test Lead and Development teams to drive continuous improvement of change in the organisation.
  • Communicate with stakeholders, providing business operational risk explanations of the consequences of Delivery approaches and findings.
  • Managing the pipeline of change demand ensuring this is satisfied from the internal team of resources.
    • IT Delivery Manager Requirements:
  • Excellent communication, planning, and organisational skills.
  • Experience as a Delivery Manager or Project Manager would be advantageous.
  • Strong Stakeholder management – able to demonstrate managing both internal and external (client) stakeholders at both senior and entry level.
  • Prince 2 or equivalent ideally at practitioner level.
  • Educated to Degree Level / equivalent, or strong industry relevant experience.
  • Experience of Logistics and Supply Chain with knowldge of related business processes.
  • Experience of JDA WMS products.
  • Agile or hybrid experience is desirable.
