Job Description

As an Internal Communications Administrator at Unipart you will support the administration and organisation of internal communication and engagement activities. You will be working within a fast paced, service company, operating within five sectors Technology, Consumer, Automotive, Utilities, and Healthwith a culture defined by the Unipart Waythis is the Way We Think, the Way We Work, the Way We Lead and the Way We Behave. As part of your key responsibilities youll:

  • Maintain accurate distribution lists in our systems to allow for targeted communications
  • Monitor and maintain the Internal Communications email accountresponding to queries within 24 hours, liaising with the other members of the team as appropriate
  • Set up templates in our systems for regular and ad hoc communications activity
  • Regularly audit and update our intranet pages, updating as required
  • Support the creation of business as usual and project communications as required: Working with various stakeholders across the business to source and research stories.
  • Writing and editing engaging content for various internal and external channels (blogs, newsletter content, case studies etc.) ensuring consistent messaging (guidance provided). Sourcing or creating pictures / graphics / video content to bring storiesand key messages to life and to support projects as needed (e.g creating posters, infographics, certificate templates)
  • Create and maintain a monthly report that measures IC team activity in order to support team decision making and improve our activity and channel usage

  • GCSE or equivalent level of education in English
  • Excellent Communication skills including effective listening and written communication skills
  • Able to work with different levels of stakeholdersfrom colleagues to senior managers
  • Excellent planning and organisation skills to be able to meet deadlines
  • Technically adept and able to use Microsoft Windows, Excel, Power Point, Word etc. Canva or other graphic software is desirable
  • Creative with an eye for detail
  • Able to work on their own initiative
  • Previous experience of creating on-line content or newsletter type communications
Desirable
  • Experience of using Canva or other graphic software is desirable
  • Experience of creating on-line content on Google sites platforms
  • Video creation and editing skills
  • Able to develop reports in Google analytics
