Job Description

This role is Midlands based with travel and coverage across the North and South, so baselocation is flexible.We dont just have a way of working, we have The Unipart Way. It allows everyone in our team to pursue their own personal and professional goals to a world class level, through Uniparts From Gate to Great training and development program.As a forward thinking and people focussed company, this is a fantastic opportunity to work as part of the Transport and Distribution Team to provide technical Transport Health and Safety support to sites, business units and projects across the business.Health and Safety Manager Responsibilities:

  • Advise management on Transport Health and Safety legislation, safe methods of working, prevention of hazards to health and the suitability of plant, protective equipment and control measures.
  • Initiate suitable actions immediately in emergencies, contact and communicate effectively with all relevant internal and external contacts.
  • Support, produce and manage information flow across Unipart Group to encourage the sharing of best practice.
  • Produce PUWER/LOLER/COSHH/Driver and Vehicle risk assessments as required.
  • Support FORS accreditation and continued compliance.
  • Complete internal Health and Safety site audits
Health and Safety Manager Requirements:Wed love you to have the following skills and experience, but please apply if you think youd be able to perform well in this role!
