Full time Fleet Maintenance Controller needed for a 08:30 - 17:00 shift. Monday - Friday. Office based role onsite at Unipart Logistics, Nuneaton, CV10 7RL.Job PurposeAs a Fleet Maintenance Controller, youll assist with the day to day running of a fleet of 3000+ vehicles, ensuring that they are legally compliant and roadworthy. You are the first point of call for supporting engineers in the field. You will help solve problemsand minimise inconvenience and downtime. The successful candidate will need a strong administration background in a fleet or vehicle orientated environment.Key Responsibilities:- You will be authorising work requests from garages and interrogating work requests to ensure any work that should be covered under warranty is non chargeable.- Booking MOT & Services- Updating & maintaining fleet maintenance systems.- Arrange the recovery of vehicles and support an engineer through any mechanical issues they have with their vehicles.- You will be chasing garages for updates on vehicles to minimise vehicle downtime.- You will be processing invoices and making ad-hoc credit card payments. - You will be arranging vehicle deliveries and collections.- Checking vehicles upon delivery/collection to site from the field.- Moving vehicles from the compound to other storage sites / garages- Assisting with preparing vehicles for new start engineers, this will require some outdoor working at times- Answering queries by phone and email. - Raising recharges for vehicle damage- Reporting using Excel/google suite. - Auditing systems to review data being held is current - Other administrative duties as and when required.Desirable - you will have experience using the 1-link authorising platform.About You: Essential: - Administration Experience - IT skills in Excel - Ability to work on own initiative as well as part of a team - Good at working under pressure and to tight deadlines- Excellent phone manner and customer service skills Desirable: - Experience of working within a large fleet department - Experience using 1-link If you feel this role is for you then we want to hear from you!Gi Group Holdings Recruitment Limited group of companies includes Gi Recruitment Limited, Draefern Limited, Gi Group Recruitment Ltd, INTOO (UK) Limited, Marks Sattin (UK) Limited, TACK TMI UK Limited and Grafton Professional Staffing Limited.
