Job Description

We are looking for a Blue Yonder Dispatcher Developer to work within our dedicated Dispatcher Team. We are continuing to grow and win new business and therefore have a need to grow our permanent team.The software is Blue Yonder (JDA) WMS Dispatcher. Our developers work at three levels with this role being at the mid level of the three. The development aspect of the role is important but we also expect our team to lead from the front and work directly withour existing clients on meeting their needs as well as Uniparts.Blue Yonder Developer Responsibilities:

  • Supporting the development and maintenance of our WMS products
  • Provide guidance and feedback to project team members
  • Resolve project issues in a timely manner
  • Provide regular project communication and status reports
  • Creating and maintaining documentation, including work instructions, configuration items, and best practices
  • Follow established policies and procedures, and best-practices, determine and recommend potential enhancement and / or improvements
  • Developing and managing direct relationships with key stakeholders and subject matter experts to ensure business solutions are aligned and meeting standards
  • Serve as a catalyst between the business and IT divisions for development of functional specifications through Blue Yonder WMS Dispatcher Solution
Blue Yonder Developer Requirements:Wed love you to have the following skills and experience, but please apply if you think you would be able to perform well in this role!
  • Excellent Communication Skills including both written and verbal
  • Experience in logistics and supply chain where a detailed knowledge of warehousing has been obtained
  • Experience of working on a project as either a team member or lead of a mid sized projects
Technical Skills -Essential
  • Application Configuration of the Blue Yonder (JDA Dispatcher) Product of one or more versions
  • SQL
  • Basic PL/SQL
  • iReports
Desirable
  • Oracle Database Performance Troubleshooting
  • Basic Shell Scripting
  • Linux Operating System
  • Cloud Console Management such as AWS or Azure
