The Executive Network Groups Logistics & Transport Division is currently recruiting for a Bid Writer, where an excellent opportunity has arisen to join a large 3PL targeting large contracts in the defence space.Bid WriterLocationRemote/Hybrid - Offices in South MidlandsSalaryc£45,000 + £50,000 plus Car Allowance + Opt in HealthcareReporting directly to the Head of Bid Development, you will have the opportunity, and autonomy, to create and put the bid together, making sure all opportunities for new business are maximised.From Financial Directors and CEOs to Procurement Teams and Tender Committees, you will have numerous internal and external customers & stakeholders with whom you will liaise and collaborate to make a success of your role.The successful Bid Writer will be responsible for the following: Responding to all tenders and proposals, and working within the cross-functional bid team, predominately across contracts in the Defence, Healthcare & Public Sector. Project managing and prioritising timelines for multiple bids to ensure bids of the highest quality are submitted. Ensuring content is in the right language, every time, by ensuring consistency with internal standards and external expectations. Ensuring you continue to be an expert in your sector(s) by utilising all possible methods of industry, company and competitor insight, on an ongoing basis.The successful Bid Writer will have the following skills and experience: You must be able to demonstrate a strong level of Bid Writing Have experience either working in the defence sector, or have demonstratable experience of bidding into this space whether this be from logistics, manufacturing etc Demonstrate strong lead project management skills Strong knowledge in the early stages of bid management & qualifying the process Adept at managing multiple and complex bid processes concurrently Skilled at managing multiple stakeholders Be articulate, with experience in writing compelling commercial documents. Experience preparing and managing bids A knowledge of supply chain is desirable
