Job Title: Management AccountantLocation: Durham, UKSalary: Up to £35,000 per annumEmployment Type: Full-time, Office-basedAs a Management Accountant, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our financial operations and decision-making processes. This is a full-time, office-based position, and you must be able to commute to Durham City.Key Responsibilities:* Prepare and analyse monthly financial reports, including budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis.* Assist in the development and maintenance of financial models.* Participate in the month-end and year-end closing processes.* Provide financial analysis and recommendations to support strategic decision-making.* Reconcile and maintain balance sheet accounts.* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure financial data accuracy.* Assist in the preparation of annual financial statements and liaise with external auditors.* Contribute to process improvements within the finance department.Qualifications:* Part-qualified accountant (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, ACA) or equivalent.* Strong experience in management accounting, ideally within a similar industry.* Proficiency in financial modeling and analysis.* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.* High attention to detail and accuracy.* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.* Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.* Proficiency in MS Excel and other financial software.
