Job Description

The Company:MTrec are currently looking to recruit experienced machine operators for one of our clients in the Durham area. Due to our client’s rapid growth and expansion, they have immediate starts for operatives with a proven track record in a manufacturing setting.The Role:

  • Operating fully automated equipment to embroider and emboss logos onto clothing
  • Operating a range of machinery and hand tools on a daily basis
  • Threading reels and items on different machinery
  • Uploading various programmes and artwork onto machinery
  • Quality inspection of garments, packing, labelling and bagging items
  • Working to various production drawings, making sure all specifications are metThe Person:
  • At least 5 years’ experience operating production machinery
  • Experience in producing different products using various stitching techniques
  • The ability to understand technical drawings
  • Must be able to complete dexterous tasks and have key eye for detail
  • Excellent attention to detail, with good problem-solving skills
  • Good Organisation and planning skills
  • The ability to work alone or in a teamThe Shifts
  • 18:00 - 06:00 permanent nights, 4 on 4 off
