Ensure equipment capability is maintained including administration for calibration records including booking calibration and plant examinations

Act as first point of contact for all internal and external hire requests from planning, lead miners and contracts managers

Producing weekly on-hire reports for internal and external hires

Placing orders and keeping internal hire records up to date

Continuously improve the quality of products to meet the set standards and customers’ requirements

Accountability for the safety, leadership, and financial performance of the operation of all plant

Lead in all aspects of safety to ensure the safe operation of the yard

Oversee all the operational activities of the plant

Controlling expenditure and managing budgets

Preparing production and performance reports for senior management

Developing and implementing a comprehensive maintenance program for the plant

Maintaining all administrative records

Maintaining inventory levels and controlling the flow of product

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

Strong engineering background

Strong background in the management and maintenance of heavy plant machinery

Knowledge of Verizon system ideal

Good IT skills

Experience operating in a similar role at a similar level

Ability to communicate and influence confidently across different departments

Results driven, capable of prioritising, and strong management skills
