The National Autism Unit (NAU) seeks to employ an enthusiastic and experienced Band 4 Occupational therapy technician.About the team:The National Autism Unit is a specialist unit that provides a 15 bedded adult male inpatient assessment and treatment focused service for people living with Autism Spectrum Disorder, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder and other co-morbid mental health conditions such as Psychosis, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, Anxiety and Depression. It also provides a day treatment service for 3 clients. It has a strong multidisciplinary working ethos and strives always to work in a person-centred manner, assisting the client and their family/ carers to have the most appropriate care, treatment and transition back to community living.As a teaching unit it has close links with the Institute of Psychiatry and access to leading experts in mental illness autism spectrum disorder.You will have opportunity for personal and professional development with the support of an excellent clinical team with a solid track record for offering high quality of care and awarded an Outstanding CQC rating.About the role:We are looking for an enthusiastic and dynamic practitioner who enjoys working with a diverse range of clinical presentations.
