History Teacher

A History Teacher is needed in a Coeducational Secondary School & Sixth Form in South East London.This History Teacher role will be full time and long term.Teaching for this History Teacher position will be for KS3 to KS5 classes.Standard teacher responsibilities apply to this History Teacher position, which include but arent limited to; planning lessons, assessing pupils progress and attending team meetings/parents evenings.Rates of pay for this History Teacher post will be between £170 to £260 a day, depending on the qualifications and experience of each applicant.The SchoolAn Outstanding mixed Secondary School & Sixth Form built on a site established in 1875.Ofsted observed that all pupils are provided with excellent teaching at the school.Pupils were considered to be joyful, eloquent and keen to learn.The school has been awarded the World Class Schools Quality Mark in 2022.WCSQM awards non-selective state schools that provide the best educationto young people in the United Kingdom. It is different to other national assessment bodies, as it assesses the pupils and not the school, using a framework of skills and competencies young people need to flourish in an emerging global economy.RequirementsYou are encouraged to apply if you are a newly qualified History Teacher or experienced History Teacher.Applications are also welcome if you are a UK trained History Teacher or overseas trained History Teacher.However, all applicants must have the following as a must in order to be considered for this position as a History Teacher:
  • Right to work in the UK
  • UK QTS or an overseas equivalent
  • Clear and up to date Enhanced DBS
  • Experience as a History Teacher in UK schools
