Job Description

An ‘Outstanding’ school in Bromley is seeking a Teacher of History to join them from September for a maternity cover position. This is a great opportunity join a dedicated team of teachers and staff supporting the school’s excellent students. The schoolis widely recognised as one of the best schools in South-East London and is housed in state-of-the-art facilities. Strong knowledge of the History curriculum from key stages 3 to 5.
Organised and professional manner.
Work effectively with other members of staff, both within the History department and throughout the school.
As a Teacher of History, you have the ability to assess students, monitor their progress, and provide constructive feedback to help them to progress.
Able to plan and deliver engaging and comprehensive History lessons.
Compliance with the schools’ policies and the reliable implementation of these.

Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
Demonstrated experience teaching History at secondary level.
A genuine passion for education and a commitment to helping students achieve their best.
As a Teacher of History, you must have excellent communication skills and the ability to connect with young learners.
