Job Title: Credit ControllerSalary: £28,000 - £40,000 per annumWe are looking for a professional Credit Controller to coordinate our billing activities. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring our company tracks and collects debts consistently and correctly.Key Responsibilities:• Check credit records for accuracy and contact customers to chase overdue invoices.• Process new credit applications, including credit checks.• Negotiate payment plans with customers and set up loan terms and conditions.• Maintain accurate records of loans, analyse the effectiveness of the company’s credit control system and implement changes to improve profitability and reduce bad debts.• Ensure customers pay on time and negotiate re-payment plans.• Meet targets for cash collection.Key Skills and Qualifications:• Proven experience as a Credit Controller.• Good understanding of lending procedures and customer service practices.• Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel.• Experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero.• Knowledge of relevant legal requirements.• Attention to detail and accuracy.• Good negotiation and communication skills.If you are a reliable professional with a strong sense of integrity and fairness, we would like to meet you.
