The successful candidate will work alongside and be supported by a highly skilled multidisciplinary team including Consultants, Diabetes Specialist Nurses and Dietician. The post will include responsibility for a mixed caseload including people with Type 2 diabetes. They will need to show empathy and sensitivity to the needs of the patients, have good communication skills, together with a friendly, polite and professional attitude.The successful candidate will need to be confident in delivering education to groups and ideally have experience of structured educations programmes e.g. DESMOND.
