Would you like to work in a dynamic and fast paced workplace supporting field operations around the worldAre you a Geotechnical/ Hydraulic or Electrical Base Technician, looking for your next interesting challengeYou will be required to work Monday-Friday 8.30hrs-17.00hrs, on offer is a competitive salary of £26,000-£35,000pa depending on experience, with additional payments for nights away and 28 days annual leave.You would be required to complete the following duties as a Base Technician.* Maintain the geotechnical, hydraulic, and electrically driven equipment.* Ensure all equipment is kept in ready to hire condition* Maintain customer satisfaction with geotechnical, hydraulic equipment & winches.* Responsible for the organisation & levels of geotechnical, hydraulic spares & consumables* Work within recommended maintenance periods and produce maintenance reports to inhouse standards. * Communicate findings and recommendations to Management* Proactively support the Technical Services Manager with information on equipment condition & availability. * Commission equipment in the field as required* Mentor & professionally support Trainees & Apprentices where required. You will be required to have the following essential skills & experience as a Base Technician.* Qualification in Electronics* IT Literate* Experience using a multi-meter and completing Mega Resistance Testing* Enthusiastic and can-do attitude* Driving Licence* Adaptable, hardworking, and keen to learn.* Experience in a supervisory role would be desirable but not essential.This role would suit an individual looking for a career in a busy, thriving, and professional workplace, if this sounds like the next step in your career, please apply now!This vacancy is being advertised by IRS Recruitment who are operating as a Recruitment Agency.
