Job Description

The Commercial division at the SF Group are now recruiting for an Shipping Administrator within an established company in Barwell. Our clients is expanding and are looking for hard working Individuals to join their ever growing team. You will assist the Inventory department to ensure accurate stock records are kept. Preparing and shipping customer orders along with the relevant paperwork. You will also be regularly communicating with the various internal and external departments with any changes as they happen. You will need to possess an excellent attention to detail, along with a confident manner for taking and making telephone calls on a regular basis. This is a friendly and organised environment which relies upon the ability to work under pressure whilst following set standards and processes. As the Shipping Administrator your duties will include the following tasks: - Collect orders from Order Picker - Update the shipping board with collections and deliveries - using Excel - Pick products on packing lists ready for auditing - Liaise with Inventory and/or Order Picker - Prepare documentation for overseas transporting - Prepare and manage appropriate shipping paperwork - Check and upload photos on to database - Organise stock transfers from external warehouses based on production demands - Check and manage incoming raw material paperwork - Update logistics tracker for both incoming and outgoing loads Key Skills - Confident at making calls and answering the telephone - A can-do attitude and problem solving ability - Ability to work as part of a team or individually - Excellent written English and attention to detail - Capable of working to procedures and processes - Excellent attention to detail - Advanced Excel Skills - Outgoing and friendly - Flexible approach to work - Highly organised - Work well under pressure This a temporary to permanent contract and the hours of work would be 8am to 5pm Monday to Friday
