Full Time Permanent. Based Barwell, LeicestershireCalling all Assembly Operatives, Technicians and those with an interest in mechanical engineering. This is an immediate opportunity to take your career to the next step and train as a Lens Re-Housing Technician within an innovative precision Lens manufacturingcompany in Leicestershire.This role would suit an enthusiastic, confident team player with assembly experience and experience of working with small specialist components.Our client, True Lens Services, manufacture bespoke mechanical redesigned products for a variety of industries including Film and Television. This is an opportunity to become a true specialist for a respected firm at the forefront of lens and camera griptechnology.The company are now looking to recruit and train a Lens Re-Housing Technician to join the Re-Housing Team. This is a busy and varied role where you will be required to remove optical units from their housing, service the optical components and build theminto the new mechanics. On the role training will be given as you learn the more intricate parts of this specialist technology.Consequently a passion and interest in photography, cinematography and the filming industry would allow you to fully immerse yourself in the companys forward-thinking lens innovation, though this is not a necessity.To thrive in this role, you must have a calm and patient approach, ideally with experience of working with precision on specialist and delicate components.
