Payroll OfficerLocation: Barwell, site basedSalary: £30,000 per annum DOEHours: Monday to Friday 9-5pmType: Fixed Term Contract (Maternity Cover 9 months)Flowers Associates are currently working with a well-established manufacturing company that has gone from strength to strength in the past 20 years via organic growth and acquisition. Flowers has been engaged to assist them in appointing a Payroll Officer tocover maternity leave for the next 9 months. This role may offer scope for more of a permanent stay due to further planned growth and acquisitions across their UK & Ireland business.The Role:As the Payroll Officer for an employee base of 900 (monthly), you’ll be responsible for the end to end payroll function. You’ll be dealing with all things payroll, from the initial processing of timesheets and T & A data, through to posting the finalised payrollacross their UK & Ireland businesses. It’s a busy role where you’ll also be responsible for managing and maintaining employee payroll data, statutory compliance with HMRC and company policies whilst keeping core stakeholders abreast with the employee informationthey need to know.The CandidateIn short, we’ve been tasked to search and select an experienced “payroller” who understands start to finish payroll processes. Ideally, you’ll be technically savvy with Access Payroll Software (PeopleXD) however this isn’t essential as with time and attendancesoftware systems, these things can be taught,What you do need to show for this role is a knowledge base that’s up to date with current payroll legislation and processes, end to end 360 payroll capability, be data confident with outstanding attention to detail and an awesome communicator.Skills
