SF Recruitment have an exciting opportunity for a Warehouse Manager for their client based in Burton on Trent, who need support whilst they are going through a period of huge growth. This is a full-time Temporary role working Monday to Friday 8-4. This willbe to support as Reporting to the Supply Network Operations Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for the warehouse and distribution team providing direct monitoring and support, ensuring all duties are carried out efficiently. The successful candidate will need to have demonstrable experience of people management skills including Absence Management and Performance Management providing 121 appraisals and performance monitoring. Key Duties: - Ensure all order fulfilment and replenishment activities are completed in an accurate and timely manner - Take the lead responsibility for the attendance and time management of all line reports - Ensure the quality assurance and management of the process of stock control - Develop and monitor all team members creating and maintaining a positive team culture - Effectively communicate with couriers and freight forwarders regarding shipments - Use the ERP system on a daily basis to monitor customer orders ensuring it is completed accurately - Follow all health and safety requirements - Take opportunity to seek improvements and refine systems and processes which benefit customer, suppliers and the company as a whole The candidate must have logistics/supply chain operational experience with knowledge of end-to-end warehouse processes and knowledge of import/export procedures and up to date knowledge of General Data Protection Regulations. In addition, the suitable candidate will be able to demonstrate experience of Health & Safety Management, IT Software, including Excel, Word, Outlook and relevant logistics software e.g. SAP, WMS.
