Job Description

SF Recruitment is currently recruiting for a Internal Communications and Events Co-ordinator for a key client of ours based in Burton. This role will be on a permanent basis, working on a hybrid basis including both home and office working. The role is afull-time position, working Monday to Friday (with an early Friday finish too!). The role itself will be responsible for internal communications, content of internal company conferences and events and external event strategy in line with UK Sales, Marketing and Business Strategy. The role will require you to work effectively with key internaland external stakeholders. Typical duties for the role will include:

Writing engaging communications which inform, inspire and drive action in line with the company culture, values and strategy
Developing and leading on internal effective internal communications in collaboration with key stakeholders and influencers within the business to meet effective internal communication needs and ensure an integrated approach across internal tools and channels
Working effectively with the wider Omnichannel Communications Team to ensure campaigns are aligned with the external communications and strategy
Leading the co-ordination of internal conference content, from concept to completion in collaboration with the wider marketing team and other key stakeholders as applicable
Assisting in the planning, coordinating and execution of internal engagement events
Working across all internal departments to ensure that internal communication materials and channels are effective and maximise employee engagement
Managing the planning, organisation and delivery of major exhibitions and regional study events
Supporting with coordinating event content creation and advertisement
Measuring and evaluating activity and campaigns on a monthly basis
Controlling budget expenditure for areas of responsibility and within constraints
Sourcing, liaising, negotiating and working effectively with key external stakeholders, such as videographers, media production, event managers, event logistics
Hitting and exceeding key performance indicators in line with personal objectives
To have an understanding and knowledge of company products, services and awareness of the market in which we operate
Complying with all Company Procedures and Policies

The successful candidate for this role should have previous experience in internal communications. Events is also desirable however internal communications is the key standout! In addition, you should have a good understanding around strategy and how to implementthis alongside excellent communications skills - this role will require you to communicate across all levels internally and really build some key relationships - so this is a must! You should be enthusiastic and keen to make a difference, as there is a lotof scope for this role.
