SF Recruitment are Currently Recruiting For a Process Engineer to support our Global Automotive Manufacturer. The Role The requirement is for a Process Engineer to support the implementation of production processes and instructions, leading productivity improvements with project based activities, including new product introduction and manufacturing line layout to reducewaste, improve quality, safety & reduce operating costs by reviewing efficiencies and eliminate waste within the manufacturing process to deliver high quality products to clearly defined standards. This is a Customer facing role that requires the ability towork under pressure, diplomacy and a professional attitude. Key Responsibilities - Reduce variability in manufacturing by providing standard work methods & work instructions - Improve manufacturing efficiency by analysing & planning work flow, space requirements & line layout - Generating production process documentation - Oversee installation of machinery/equipment including commission/safety - Identify manufacturing needs for new projects in development - Identify & remove waste from the processes - Being available to discuss and resolve technical issues with other staff as necessary. - To support the Engineering functions in all plants in the UK as required. - Respond to breakdowns if engineering support required - Manage Engineering Changes as required relating to product and process - Perform root cause analysis & resolve problems About You: The ideal candidate for this role will have worked in an automotive manufacturer within Process Engineer role If you would like to be considered for this role, please apply to send a copy of your CV to Mark at
