Job Description

SF Recruitment are looking for a Material Planning Coordinator to work for a key client of ours in Burton On Trent. This is a full time, permanent role which will be responsible for assisting the Administration Manager with the replenishment of materialson site from both National and International suppliers. This role will include forecasting, planning, liaison, procurement and coordinating both logistical and production scheduling. Key responsibilities for this role will include - Daily production planning for products- Processing of purchase orders for a specified portfolio of suppliers - Frequent supplier liaison- Acknowledgement and associated communication for intercompany orders- Daily scheduling and booking-in deliveries for a specified supplier portfolio - Communicating in advance of deliveries and across all departments- Greeting suppliers visiting site as required- Maintaining external supplier price files- Administration for competitive quotationsOur client is looking for confident and experienced candidates who have a good, strong administration background. If you have experience in planning or use of ERP systems, this would be advantageous however not essential.
