Job Title: Train CleanerJob Location: Burton on Trent Hourly Rate: Night- £11.00 / £14.45 Umbrella Hours Per Week:Minimum 37 hoursShifts: Nights 21:00 - 05:00 Flexible pattern to cover 7 days a weekDuration: OngoingOpportunity We have a number of positions available with a leading service provider to the Transport Industry with in the UK. The roles are spilt between 2 teams with one team working days and the other working nights. Position Summary:You will be working as part of a team maintaining train cleanliness and preparing the trains for their next days service overnight at an operational depot in Burton on TrentThe position is based on a busy Rail depot and all applicants would be expected to complete the following:*Physical cleaning including the roof of the Trains and other exterior*Complete cleaning with various chemicals and cleaning liquids*Manual labour *Complete Bio-Cleans *Work within a safety critical environment *Internally and externally clean trains*Report any maintenance for fleets to go out into service at required standard*Radio communication/ point of contact for team leaders*Train staff to complete service/ heavy cleans to highest possible standard.*Bio cleans/ fatality cleaner - also trained other staff to complete this using correct chemicals and procedure*Underframe cleaning *Industrial carpet cleaning throughout fleet for Cross County and Virgin trains*Oxal cleaning on exterior for Arrow Solutions promotion*Diversity training *Manual handling*Health and safety *Chemical handling (COSHH regulations) Ideal applicants would have had some cleaning or heavy industry experience and previously worked nights.
