Job Description

1st Line IT Support TechnicianWe are looking for candidates who have a genuine interest in working within the IT sector! Maybe you have studied IT at College, maybe you have a passion and enjoy building computers in your spare timeYou will be joining a family friendly company who are looking to grow their team and offering the opportunity to learn and develop your skills with bonuses paid as you develop, if you have good customer service and the ability to build rapport with clients,they will teach you the rest!Start: ASAPDuration: PermanentLocation: Mildenhall, SuffolkSalary: Starting salary at £18,000 with £500 bonus paid each time you complete your CompTIA Certification. There is also the option to earn bonuses through KPIs and tickets.Hours: Monday to Friday , 8am to 5pmWith chances for training, progression and the opportunity to gain accreditations such as CompTIA A+, Network+ and Security+ a while working, this is the ideal opportunity for someone looking to develop their current skill set and passion for IT.What you will be doing:

  • Responding to clients tickets in a timely manner
  • Resolving and issues coming to the Service Desk in 45-minute time frame
  • Using skills to solve problems and support the clients in finding a solution
  • Escalating issues to 2nd and 3rd line support where necessary
What you will bring:
  • A passion for IT with the desire to build on and extend existing skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Excellent time and planning management
  • Close attention to detail when dealing with clients
