Job Description

We are currently recruiting for compassionate carers, with professional experience for supporting individuals with complex needs within the comfort of their own homes. Our client, situated in GL9, requires on going support with shift patterns being madeup of 20:00 - 08:00 & 08:00 - 20:00. As the client is tetraplegic due to a spinal stroke & has Autonomic Dysreflexia. Having the necessary relevant experience is essential in order to be put forward for this position. If successful, on-going complex care trainingand support will be provided.This role will require:

  • Administering medication
  • Assisting with domestic duties and personal care
  • Maintaining and updating reports such as care plans
  • Working in a team of 2 carers
  • Providing on going support & care for the client
Required experience:
  • Previous professional experience as a care assistant (essential)
  • Previous experience supporting tetraplegic clients & or Autonomic Dysreflexia
  • Previous experience with alternative complex care requirements (preferred)
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Drivers license and access to own vehicle (preferred due to location)
  • Good professional and personal references
