Job Description

We are seeking a Systems Lead to maintain and development systems & processes throughout the company using various systems to improve, streamline and digitalise processes.Systems LeadSalary: £38,000 - £45,000 per annum Contract: PermanentHours of work: 35 hours per weekLocation: Portlethen, AberdeenAbout usRoemex is a privately owned service company working in the global energy sector and we have around 35 employees. We are headquartered in Portlethen, Aberdeenshire and provide speciality chemicals and consultancy services to the Global Energy Industry. ThePortlethen office houses our Operations, Research & Development and Commercial Operations divisions. We have regional offices located in Dubai and the Netherlands.Roemexs business is in the conventional energy sector (Oil & Gas), but our business is expanding into the Renewable Energy Industries such as Geothermal and Offshore Wind. Our business consists of a dynamic team who strive to provide high quality, responsiveservice and bespoke solutions to our clients challenges and projects.The roleThe post holder will be the first point of contact for all system related queries, and you will play a key role in developing the digital skills and confidence of our team and departmental managers.What you will be doing

  • Liaise with department managers to ensure efficient systems and processes are in place
  • Oversees administration of HR software package ensuring training records are up to date by creating digital monitoring, electronic reminders utilising Microsoft 365 where possible.
  • Build custom SharePoint solutions based on user/business needs, creating customs lists, workflow, Apps and dashboards.
  • Ensure ongoing development/maintenance of the SharePoint domain, creating sites and pages where required by the business needs.
  • Support department managers to deliver upgrades/new software implementing for systems such as Sage 200.
  • Supports compliance to GDPR.
  • Assist the QHSE manager with coordination of information from various departments and establish a centre for policies and procedures, streamlines systems for a more efficient working environment.
  • liaison with third party software companies and approves software costs.
  • Oversees the loading of documents into SharePoint for the Document Management System, troubleshoots issues, support, and training other users.
  • Load/amend documents as required into SharePoint
  • Assist with company projects as set out in the company development plan.
  • Maintain change of management for all Management Systems.
  • Be aware of and adhere to requirements of the companys policies, objectives and systems relating to Quality, Health & Safety and Environmental management.
  • Development of systems from paper based to online digital formats, this will require construction of flows, approval chains, listings and databases within MS office 365 packages.
  • Subject to the Companys workload, perform any other tasks within your capabilities for the Company as required by the Management Team.
Hours of work are 35 per week. The normal working pattern will be Monday to Friday with a one hour unpaid lunch break each day.
