Job Description

Role: Senior HR Technology AnalystLocation: Anywhere in the UK, close to office (Manchester, London). Ideally Aberdeen. The role can be 100% remoteSalary: £45000 - £55000 + up to 10% BonusMy client are a technology driven solutions provider to the global energy industry. They have pioneered innovations that empower the global energy industry, enabling their customers to safely produce abundant energy while minimizing their environmental impact.Throughout every region in the world and across every area of drilling and production, their family of companies has provided the technical expertise, advanced equipment, and operational support necessary for successnow and in the future.Role OverviewAs a member of the HR Technology team, the role provides customer focused HR systems support and development to serve the needs of all end users and stakeholders across Europe, Middle East, Africa (EMEA) and Asia Pacific (APAC)Acting as a principle technical specialist for their Oracle HCM Cloud solution for HR and Recruiting, as well as other functional systems such as Kronos (Timekeeping and Activities) and ADP (SAP) Managed Payroll.Delivering end user and project support as well as configuration and testing across the full HR functional/systems range.The role with also focus on closely supporting HRIT manager in Project Management space helping to deliver HR projects to the business.Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for service delivery across all HR systems and functional areas being used by the business.
  • First line support and resolution for all HR systems related queries, such as process questions, systems questions and technical/user issues using Neocase and Jira systems.
  • Investigating/trouble shooting systems errors, working with the appropriate internal and external support teams in resolution.
  • Undertake best practice testing methodology as appropriate.
  • Small works development and configuration across the systems
  • On-going systems maintenance such as interfaces, tables and field updates.
  • Delivery of regular scheduled tasks such monthly audits, data cleanse and report running, table updates.
  • User access management (UAM) with security and role profiles being correctly used, monitored and assigned.
  • Support adhoc requests such as mass data loads, data interrogation and reorganisations.
  • Assist with annual activities such as salary reviews, benefit enrolments, talent and performance cycles.
  • Support the HR Services team in the delivery of systems related projects as necessary.
  • Keep working documentation up to date, such as technical specification documents, local work instructions and users guides.
  • Supporting local Payroll teams with data queries and issues related to the ADP (SAP) Managed Payroll systems
  • Working on a daily basis with the HRIT and technical team based in the US
  • Being a Project Manager for Oracle Projects and Changes while working independently liaising with the stakeholders and the business
  • Working closely with the HRIT Manager and acting on behalf when required and authorised
Experience & Qualifications:Essential
  • Higher education within relevant subject
  • Excellent command of English - both written and spoken.
  • Working experience of Oracle HR Cloud Application (SME Level)
  • Advanced MS Excel and general data manipulation skills.
  • General interest and experience in working with computer systems.
Desirable
  • IT Degree or Equivalent
  • Knowledge and understanding of Kronos Timekeeping and Activities
  • Knowledge and understanding of SAP System
  • Advanced Microsoft Office suite, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook, etc.
  • SharePoint Developer Experience.
  • Other Languages
  • Project Management Experience
