Job Description

On-Site SHEQ Advisor6 Month Fixed Term ContractNR11Start Date; ASAPCore Recruiter are looking for an on-site SHEQ Advisor for a fixed term 6 month contract based in Norfolk, NR11.Own transport is required due to location of the work.Requirements/Qualifications

  • NEBOSH Diploma or Level 5 equivalent
  • First Aid
  • CSCS
  • Experience of working on site as a H&S advisor
  • IOSH Membership
  • Clean and valid UK driving license
  • Good IT skills and knowledge of Excel and Word
  • Full PPE (High Viz, Hard Hat, Steel Toe Capped Boots)
Job Duties
  • Weekly site inspection for each site location using lauditor
  • Populating the observation register and closing out open onservations promptly
  • Ensuring that site specific RAMS are written and available before new sites start
  • Carry out detailed accident/incident investigations
  • Attend weekly progess meetings
  • Carrying out weekly toolbox talks for all staff
  • Experience in completing permits ti beak ground and signing off
  • Ensure that environmental audits are carried out and all environmental activities are closely monitored, including permits to pump, dust suppression and all ecological factors are taken into account.
  • The possibility to visit other local sites as and when required.
