Reed recruitment in Bristol is delighted to be recruiting for a Sales Advisor to Join a rapidly growing company who are looking for a Sales Advisor, They need to be friendly and helpful with an eye for detail, exceptional customer service is highly important.Location : Bristol , Cribbs CausewayBenefits:• £24,380k pa• 28 days holiday + Bank Holidays• Company pension• Potential to earn productivity bonuses• Generous staff discount• Medicare cash health plan• Free life insurance• Auto enrolment pension schemeKey Responsibilities:• Greet & approach trade & retail customers• Build rapport with customers and suggest to them suitable products for their project• Provide advice and educate both retail and trade customers with product knowledge• Input orders onto computer system• Make contact with customers over phone and email• Ensure both current and redundant paperwork is filed and stored safely and logically so that documents can be readily retrieved• Follow company Health and Safety policy• Report any breaches of company policy to line or senior managers• Contribute to tidiness and cleanliness of branch (both inside and local area outside) without prompting• Keep stock tidy and safe in store and warehouse• Process Customer orders & stock from delivery• Merchandising of new product into the branchQualifications and/or ExperienceNo prior experience necessaryBehaviours/CompetenciesHelpful• Maintain productive working relationships with colleagues, suppliers and customers• Demonstrate ability to remain calm and focused when under pressure• Demonstrate proactivity- setting own tasks without waiting for instruction• Follow all safe working practices within the Health & Safety manual• Be open and embrace branch and role changes made in drive for improvement of the store processes & team developmentKnowledgeable• Demonstrate thorough knowledge of company policies and procedures• Demonstrate thorough knowledge of the company’s product range including ancillary products• Be aware of design trends & ideas and able to relay to customers during sales process• Demonstrate technical knowledge of tiling and tiling products• Demonstrate knowledge of sales policies including, for example, returns• Ensure understanding of how to use the computer system and compliance with use of individual passwords known only to the individualInterested• Demonstrate the Company values of helpful, knowledgeable and interested• Demonstrate ability to prioritise and complete work within deadlines• Deliver on promises made to customers• Show dedication to the success of the store and achieving the most possible during the day• Demonstrate consistency on all areas of performance• Maintain a satisfactory level of appearance and personal hygiene• Follow CSB ethos & sales procedures• Ensure all customers are greeted on arrival and approached at an appropriate moment to identify their needs and solutions are suggested enthusiastically with genuine interest• Participate in company promotions positivity and enthusiastically• Be open and attentive to change and any training given and demonstrate what is taught• Demonstrate ability in drive for increasing value of each sale and selling associated products (grouts/Adhesives etc)• Develop professional, unbiased relationships with all trade customers• Ensure tasks are completed to a consistently satisfactory level
