Location : Forcewide- Avon and Somerset areaJob descriptionIf you are an experienced investigator, have knowledge to share and enjoy teaching and developing others this could be the job for you. The Investigative Training Team deliver a wide variety of investigative training programmes which include specialist trainingin surveillance, covert and digital investigation as well as core investigative doctrine for trainee and experienced investigators.We are looking for a person who would like to be involved with the design and delivery of tailored training courses on both a local and national level, liaise with recognised authorities in specialist fields and has the skills to monitor and assess the developmentof others. Are you self-motivated and will you keep abreast of changes in legislation, force policy, and training techniques If you have a genuine interest in others, we would like you to apply for this role.On this occasion, we would particularly welcome applications from anyone who can demonstrate a knowledge and understanding of Surveillance practices and procedures obtained from working on a surveillance team. Ideally someone who is a Nationally AccreditedSurveillance trainer who can demonstrate that they have maintained the minimum standard.You will deliver a variety of training programs and specialist courses including investigative interviewing and surveillance for various levels of crime ranging from theft to murder.Experience and/or qualifications in teaching is desirable although not essential.Your main responsibilities will be:
