Job Description

Location: Brightside Park, Severn Bridge, Aust, Bristol, BS35 4BLAbout the teamWe are looking for a Digital Marketing Executive to join our Marketing Department on a fixed term contract, to cover maternity leave. The fixed term contract will be for a period of 9 months, from July until April.Our Marketing Department look after all aspects of Brightside’s brand, websites, customer communications and social media. They’re also responsible for both acquisition and retention marketing through PPC in all its forms, writing great content and offers to drive sales to both our online and offline journeys.About the roleYou will help manage and improve the performance of all digital marketing activity by increasing the volume and quality of leads into the business and improve brand reputation. Some of your key responsibilities will include:

  • Analysing PPC campaigns, with the objective to increase leads into the business, improve commercial and funnel KPIs, and to optimise performance
  • Developing and managing all aspects of organic search campaigns
  • Improving our SERP rankings through development and delivery of a web content improvement plan
  • Working closely with our digital marketing agency to help drive the digital agenda
  • Improving conversion of all search marketing campaigns from online activity through to offline sale
  • Developing and delivering email campaigns, working closely with our product and operational teams to deliver leads, quotes and sales
  • Delivering web change via the CMS as required
  • Tracking campaign performance
  • Producing copy and content in line with brand guidelines
  • Supporting the wider Marketing Department with our brand social media accounts including support to grow social reach and engagement
  • Seeking to keep up to date with digital trends and industry knowledge
  • About youWe’d love to hear from you if you have:
  • Experience of digital marketing, particularly PPC and SEO
  • An excellent understanding of Google Analytics and related tools to shape future campaign activity plus a good knowledge of google ads
  • An understanding of how to interpret data and present it to drive change within marketing and the wider business
  • Experience managing website content via a CMS
  • High level of experience in advanced Excel
