Job Description• Contribution and support in the preparation of accurate monthly management accounts.• Balance sheet reconciliation.• Integration of Data Analysis to manage, report and maintain critical business and client KPIs.• Managing accounts payable function and processing payments.• Assist with bids for new work and subsequent business development.• Costing reconciliation.• Manage effective credit control, allocation of cash and supplier payments.• Preparation and support of VAT returns and HMRC compliance.• Management of other administrative requirements such as IT and company insurances.• Administration of invoice discounting arrangements.The Person• Experienced accountant either part qualified or QBE.• Excellent organisation skills.• You will be proactive and be able to manage your own workload.• Advanced working knowledge of Excel.• Familiar with business accounting platforms.• Ideally some previous exposure to working with contracts or a project based environment.• Enthusiastic nature and excited to take a key role in a growing owner managed business.• Aspiration to progress.
