Job Description

RSR Police is a market leading recruitment business dedicated to supporting Blue Light sector organisations with their recruitment.RSR Police are currently recruiting for a number of Transport Mall Officers to be based at Brewery Street Coach and Lorry Parking, Birmingham for exciting short term opportunities to help deliver a secure and safe Commonwealth Games for everyone to enjoy.The Transport Mall will operate on a 24/7 basis and there will be a mixture of earlies, lates & nights, working shifts of up to 8 hrs, including rest days.These roles are temporary contracts from the 11th July 2022 up until 11th August 2022, you will be allocated a shift pattern within these dates so your start and finish dates will vary within this period.The rate of pay for this role is £12.09 per hour PAYE.Main Duties:

  • Operating the "Welcome Point" on site, greeting arrivals of police officers and other police staff, confirming and challenging their identify if needed and advising on any queries they may have whilst on site
  • Directing Officers and Staff to transport that may be taking them to another area of the city where the Commonwealth Games events are taking place
  • Directing officers and Staff towards locations were they have accommodation
  • Direct to refreshment points on site upon arrival and assisting with providing refreshments
  • Keeping the area in a good clean state to ensure operations run safely and smoothly
  • Receiving and handling deliveries
  • For those sites with car parks there may be some car park duties
Essential Requirements:
  • Customer Service experience
  • Ability to work as part of a team.
  • Adaptability and flexibility with a can do approach to problem solving.
  • Willingness to offer help and support
