Job Description

Phillips Grant Associates are assisting a client with offices in Birmingham to recruit for a Business Development Manager to drive sales within one of the companies specific sectors. Your client base will include organisations within the private and public sectors and you will need the ability to sell a solution to the clients specificneeds.Key responsibilities:

  • Help develop and execute a sales strategy to achieve product and services sales targets.
  • Identify and prospect new clients within the target market segments including public and private sector clients.
  • Build and maintain relationships with existing clients, understanding their needs, and providing appropriate product recommendations and solutions.
  • Conduct product presentations and demonstrations to potential clients, showcasing the features, benefits, and value of the organisation’s offerings.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and implement effective sales campaigns, promotions, and lead generation activities.
  • Prepare and deliver sales proposals and contracts, negotiating terms and pricing to close deals.
  • Provide accurate sales forecasts and reports, tracking sales activities, customer interactions, and market trends.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product development, operations, and customer support, to ensure smooth sales processes and customer satisfaction.
  • Attend industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events to expand our network and identify new business opportunities.
  • Prepare and present sales reports, metrics, and recommendations to senior management to facilitate informed decision-making.
Package:Salary £32,000 - £35,000, car allowance £4,600, uncapped commission (on average BDMs commission - £12,000 - £20,000), bi-annual bonus of up to a month’s salary, 25 days annual leave, gym membership, healthcare plan.The company are looking for someone with a positive attitude to developing new business and a proven track record in selling a solution to a varied customer base.If you are interested in this position, please apply immediately to be considered for the position.
