Job Title: Design Technology TeacherContract: Temporary (19/2/2024 - 20/3/2024)Location: Aston, BirminghamWe, at Academics Ltd. are currently working with a diverse and Outstanding secondary school close to the centre of Birmingham, where students have highly positive attitudes towards learning. The staff team are committed to ensuring the highestquality of behaviour and effort from their students, which is reflected in the schools most recent OFSTED report.This school are looking for a Design Technology Teacher to join their tem for 5 weeks, covering both Food Technology and Resistant Materials with the students in Key Stage 3, and Key stage 4 students who have chosen DT has one of their options.The successful Design Technology Teacher will:

Plan and deliver engaging lesson plans for both Resistant Materials + Food Technology - Knowledge in both topics is essential.
Create a safe environment for lessons to take place, giving the students the tools and knowledge to maintain their safety throughout the lesson.
Assess the progress of students, in line with the schools procedures.

Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status with Teacher Reference number
Experience teaching Food Technology and Resistant materials
A undergraduate degree related to the field in which you would be teaching would be desirable.
