Job Description

LSST is a higher education provider with around 5000 students and modern campuses in London Wembley, London Elephant and Castle, Luton, Birmingham Digbeth and Birmingham Aston.JobPurpose: To work within the Admissions team and assist the Admissions Officer with the student admissions process for Home and EU students to include the administrative support for student archiving, correspondence and certification.Key responsibilities:Dealing with enquirers;

  • To provide outstanding customer service to prospective and enrolled students, both in person and on the telephone.
  • To reply to requests for information over the phone and by email.
  • To liaise with the Marketing team to ensure the smooth transition of potential Home & EU students from recruitment to admissions.
  • To ensure that all new student files and applications are handed over to the Registry Team within agreed time frame.
  • Dealing with application process
  • To screen all Home & EU student applications to ensure all entry requirements are met.
  • To know entry requirements, visa types, funding, NARIC & admission status of the potential applicants
  • To liaise with Administrative staff or Academic staff for decisions on applications
  • To deal with queries in relation to offers and rejections
  • To cover other Admission team members during periods of absence
  • To arrange interviews and assessment tests for the recruitment of new students
  • To assist applicants and prospective students during the admissions process
  • Dealing with legal matters & Finance
  • To collect all the legal documents before finalizing student admission
  • To create reports from the Admissions database as directed, including status reports of admission progression, re-enrollment of returning students and attrition.
  • To maintain a student list and update the Admissions database
  • Archiving
  • To be responsible for the student admissions document archiving process
  • To produce a list of archived documents and files for each archiving year
  • To liaise with the Registry Department regarding filing and archiving procedures
  • Arranging information sessions and open days
  • To assist with the organisation of the Open Days and Induction Week including information sessions for new students with other team members
  • Course Promotion
  • To be involved in career fairs and production of advertisements if required
