Job Description

Join us on the Journey... National Expresshave a fantastic opportunity to join our Training Team as a Driver Training Instructor, based in Aston. The successful candidatewill support new and existing drivers development through delivery of courses and other training support.What youll do...

  • Work within the driver development team delivering a variety of courses and training / development interventions to trainee and existing drivers
  • Effectively deliver training in compliance with legislation and internal standards, providing role model performance in respect of adherence to policies and procedures at all times
  • Demonstrate effective oversight of candidate / delegate performance, ensuring each person gets an optimal training experience
  • Provide flexible support and cover as required with other tasks undertaken within the driver development team
  • Organise self and materials effectively to ensure smooth delivery of training and support
  • Work safely at all times, complying with safe systems of work and ensuring candidates / delegates do the same
  • Conform to all health, safety and environmental regulations at all times
Experience, Knowledge & Qualifications Required
  • Must hold a valid PCV Licence for a minimum of 3 years
  • Be organised, flexible and adaptable
  • A strong communicator
  • Have a can do attitude and ability to solve problems on own initiative
  • Previous training experience in PCV instruction for non Category D Licence holders is essential
  • RoSPA Gold qualification an advantage
