Job Description

A multi-national blue chip company are looking to welcome a Service Team Leader to their growing team, in their Runcorn office. This is a permanent position with an excellent package deal, amongst a company who values diversity, autonomy, inclusive culture.Some of the benefits on offer include:

I am keen to speak to candidates that have any of the following experience:
  • Proficiency with DCS and Safety Systems (TUV certified preferred).
  • Possess Function Safety experience - Process & Control (preferred).
  • Has prior experience working within the Oil & Gas Industry or have worked in a similar sector.
  • Background in Industrial Automation and/or electrical engineering.
  • Has experience with being a Lead Engineer or has engaged with small project management.
  • Commercial awareness experience.
  • Previous commercial experience within a project team or service-based company.
Some of the duties of an Automation Service Engineer will be:
  • Providing support with fault finding and feed support, to contract customers.
  • Being a key point for Safety Systems, supporting faults, modifications, calibrations, etc..
  • Site management of assigned systems engineers & service engineers including: scheduling work, absence management, conducting appraisals, etc..
  • Communicating and liaising with customers regarding revenue, margin performance, etc..
  • Writing high level documentation and carrying out site surveys on customers systems and recommending courses of action / appropriate resolutions.
  • Ability to travel and full UK driving license is essential.
This role will be suitable for candidates with Lead/Senior/Principal Engineering experience or may be relevant for Control Systems / C&I / Automation Engineers, who are looking to take that next step.
