Job Description

The Calisen Group is expanding its range of activities in line with its mission to ‘deliver smarter energy for all’. Due to business growth, our specialist Heat Pump entity, Plug Me In - Heat, are looking for an Operations Assistant to join the team.The successful applicant will be responsible for answering and investigating queries from various stakeholders, including the public, heat pump manufacturers, our electric vehicle entity - Plug Me in – EV, electricians, and the field teams. Additionally,you will play a vital role in managing the application and redemption of Boiler Upgrade Scheme (BUS) Grants, working closely with Ofgem to resolve any queries related to the grants. You will also be responsible for registering heat pump installations and applyingfor associated warranties and insurance guarantees, as well as preparing handover packs for customers, and delivering them through agreed methods such as email or post. The Operations Assistant will provide valuable support to the Technical Sales Executive,assisting with follow-up heat pump enquiries to customers and support in the booking of home assessment surveys and scheduling heat pump installations, collaborating with the finance department to track customer payments and BUS Grant redemption, ensuringthat all work is paid for, and grants are redeemed within the designated timeframe.This is a permanent, full-time role working 37.5 hours per week Monday – Friday on a hybrid basis, whereby you will work from home but also required to travel to our Ashton-in-Makerfield office at least 2 days per week, with a salary of £21,450 per annum.Why work for Plug Me In

What we are looking for
  • Customer service experience.
  • Computer literate with ability to operate Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, organisation, and administration skills, with the ability to work as part of a team and on own initiative, and work towards strict deadlines.
  • Experience working within and knowledge of the Heat Pump market & infrastructure would be advantageous but not essential.
