Job Description

An opportunity for an experienced Group Sales Administration Manager to join an established construction machinery dealership. The role contributes to the continued success of the brands sales and after sales business for the dealership network throughoutthe UK. The role involves the recruitment and development of the sales administration team. You will form part of the strategic management team that helps to deliver first class customer service for their customers.Group Sales Administration Manager responsibilities:

  • Review and structure the order to delivery process ensuring that the correct documentation is completed, including machine payment prior to delivery.
  • Ensure that the correct handover documentation is completed, and that the relevant paperwork is submitted with the manufacturer.
  • Review and structure a process for demonstrations, ensuring that the costings are captured and budgeted for.
  • Create a sales admin support team that matches the commercial needs of the business.
  • Create a development culture that promotes personal growth and training.
  • Generate accurate quarterly sales reports that generate unit, margin, and market share information for the board.
  • Assess the business needs continuously to ensure that "Best in Class Customer Service is delivered."
  • Create a Team that works closely with the Area Sales Managers, enabling them to concentrate on the sales side of the business.
  • Effectively manage the sales and purchase ledgers.
  • Ensure that parts stock is maintained at the correct levels at all the depots.
  • Carry out quarterly stock takes at all our facilities to ensure that we have a handle on the stock versus plan
  • Any other responsibilities that are required.
Group Sales Administration Manager profile:
  • A proven track record of successfully running a sales administration team in a dealership or similar environment.
  • A great communicator, that leads by example.
  • Ability and experience of leading and developing teams to gain customer loyalty and profit results
  • Evidence of analytical skills used to understand customer business and how to improve profit and maximise sales
On offer is £50,000 basic salary, private healthcare, life insurance, 25 days holiday + bank holidays.
