Job Description

Location: Appleby Magna (DE12 8AA)Contract: Temporary, full and part timeSalary: £11.96 per hour + MHE supplement, 30 days holiday, pension, life assurance, employee assistance programme, wellbeing support, and flexible benefits schemeWe are currently recruiting for immediate starts across all shifts: AM (6:00am-2:30pm), PM (2:30pm-11:00pm), Nights (10:00pm-6:30am) - temp and temp to perm opportunitiesAbout the JobRelationships mean everything to us, and this one is particularly special. You’ll get the opportunity to work in lots of different areas of the warehouse, learning new things and making surethat Jaguar Land Rover’s stock is always in the right place, at the right time, and with the right amount for collection when it is needed.As part of your key responsibilities you’ll:

  • Pick, check, store and pack goods, either manually or using our RF technology, which we’ll train you to use so you always get the best results
  • Use a forklift truck to load and unload trailers safely, in line with our company procedures
  • Keep track of anything that’s not right, including errors, damages, or quality issues so that these can be sorted quickly and easily
  • Use our computer systems and manual records to input the latest data relevant to what you’ll be working on
  • Help us make the site a great, safe place to work, by taking an active part in our health and safety awareness program and processes
  • Be listened to with any ideas for improvements, so be sure to make your voice heard
We can offer you a basic rate of £11.96 per hour, which is the equivalent of £24,876.80 per year for a 40-hour working week - although were very open to flexible working patterns and part time hours - please let us know what your preference is when you apply,and well do our best to accommodate. We also pay an MHE supplement that would increase your hourly rate to £13.09, which is the equivalent of £27,227.20 per year for a 40-hour working week. On top of this you will get 30 days holiday (including bank holidays),a pension, a life assurance scheme, an employee assistance programme, wellbeing support, and a flexible benefits scheme.   • You know your way around a computer so that you are able to input data
  • If you’ve got previous experience of working in a warehouse environment, that would be great
  • You’ll be aware of health and safety regulations, including manual handling
  • Maybe you’ve already got an FLT Counterbalance and / or Reach licence - if not, we can train you to get one
