It allows everyone in our team to pursue their own personal and professional goals to a world class level, through Uniparts ‘From Gate to Great’ training and development program.As a Senior Operations Excellence Manager, you will lead, coordinate and deliver process improvement projects aligned to agreed business priorities. Your primary focus will be to deploy Operational Excellence & Digital technologies into operations deliveringvalue to the business and positive outcomes measured through safety, quality, cost and delivery indicators.As part of your key responsibilities you’ll:

  • Lead and deliver continuous improvement activities to improve operational performance and enhance colleague capability in the use of Unipart Way tools and techniques
  • Deliver tangible and validated financial savings through OpEx and Digital delivery
  • Use OpEx and Unipart digital tools to deliver ‘Right First Time’ principles into operations
  • Learn, share and adopt best practice within our Logistics division and wider business
  • Work with site leaders in applying the Group OpEx & Digital standards consistently and as measured through the Group’s internal auditing process.
  • Act as a mentor and coach for peers and high potential colleagues, ensuring there is a strong pipeline of succession.
  • Support and coach operational leaders with their personal development accreditation programmes, particularly OpEx elements where applicable
About You:
  • We’d love you to have the following skills and experience, but please apply if you think you’d be able to perform well in this role!
  • Experience of delivering Operational Excellence with data analysis to drive tangible results in Unipart - or similar experience of delivering OpEx / Lean / C.I activities and outcomes
  • Experience of leading, coaching, developing and mentoring a team
  • Ability to influence internal and external stakeholders at all levels
  • Excellent communication skills; verbal, written and presenting
  • An appetite to learn more about Industry 4.0 technologies and apply digital solutions to applicable operational areas and processes
  • Good IT skills with skills in Microsoft Office
  • Proven logical thinker with skills in understanding and interpreting data
  • Awareness of H&S standards
  • Desirable
  • Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certified
  • Experience of working with and implementing digital capabilities
